“What I like most about The View Alexandria is that it is large enough to have so many activities though small enough that you really get to know people.”

Vista Club

Enjoy today, plan for tomorrow

If you’re interested in joining The View Alexandria, we invite you to join the Vista Club. As a Vista Club member, you’ll have prioritized access to apartments when they become available. financial model

The freedom to choose what you need, when you need it

The View Alexandria offers a simple and flexible financial model: residents pay rent monthly, without the large entrance fees that come with other contracts. This approach provides access to the comfort, amenities and support of a Goodwin Senior Living Campus while making the community more financially accessible.

Frequently asked questions

A no-commitment rental Life Plan community allows residents to pay monthly rent rather than a large upfront entrance fee. At The View Alexandria, this model provides flexibility, with the option to enjoy modern apartments, services and amenities without a long-term financial commitment.

There is no difference. The term Life Plan Community is simply a newer, more positive way of describing a CCRC—both offer independent living with a continuum of care (such as assisted living, memory care, and long-term nursing) on the same campus.

Yes. The View Alexandria is a Life Plan community, though it has a fee-for-service contract rather than a lifecare contract, which means you don’t pay a large entrance fee. Instead, you pay monthly rent for your apartment, with the flexibility to adjust your plans as your needs change. At this time, the campus does not have a dedicated Memory Care neighborhood or offer Short-term Rehabilitation services.

Availability varies, but apartments are often available more quickly than at Life Plan Communities with lifecare contracts. A member of our team can walk you through current openings and help you plan your move.

Your monthly rent covers your apartment as well as many services and amenities, such as maintenance, housekeeping, dining, social programs, fitness opportunities and more.

Residents have access to Assisted Living and Long-Term Nursing Support, with priority access if their needs change. These services are provided with compassion, dignity and the highest quality of care.

At present, we do not have a dedicated Memory Care neighborhood at The View Alexandria. We do offer Thrive, a day program from the Goodwin Brain Health team who designed it specifically for residents who experience cognitive changes.

Yes, home just wouldn’t feel the same without our best friends by our side as long as they adhere to our pet policy.
